“He that can have patience can have what he will.”
– Benjamin Franklin
I’ve only managed to edit this image during the Christmas holidays even though it was taken in October or November. It was on the Sunday of the open day. The queue was outrageously long and since patience is not my strong suit (am really working on this) I opted to shoot the outside of the structure.
Located on the South Bank of the River Thames, Battersea Power Station is a very impressive structure that is the centre of the Battersea area in London. Built in the 1930’s and only ceased providing electricity in 1983. It is now one of the best known landmarks of London. Unfortunately, it is currently being converted into flats and a shopping centre which is a real shame if you ask me.
Hope everyone’s had a wonderful week so far
