1- A picture should tell a story. It should captivate the viewer, draw them in and make them linger for a few minutes.
2- A picture should not distract the viewer
3- Fill your frame
4- Get the Background right (no distractions)
5- Take your time to look around to find a good spot
6- Always Bracket your shots
7- Visual your shot before you take it.
It’s all said an done but it’s possible to always be able to follow all these rules before every shot. What do I then? I rely on my knowledge, and optimise the best settings for the situation.
